Try A Boat offers visitors the opportunity to experience
the thrills and excitement of going boating. With a wide
selection of boats to choose from, including the latest RIBs
(Rigid Inflatable Boats) powerboats and sailing yachts, there
is something for most people. Your free trip will include taking a
safety briefing, donning a buoyancy aid and then it's away into the
Solent!
This free activity is operated on a first come, first served
basis, and you will be asked to fill in a disclaimer at the Show.
The booking desk is located at stand A001.
The boats available are
- 3 Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs)
- 6 Yachts - including a J95, a Hanse44, a Benetau First 40
and a storm 22
- 2 Catamarans - a 62 footer and a Broadblue 435
- 3 Keelboats - 2 Ynglings (as sailed at the last Olympics) and a
Cork 1720
- a Rodman 30 Motor Boat
