Find out what you can come and see and do at the 2016 Southampton Boat Show until Sunday 25th September - including Spitfire and Hurricane Air Displays, RIB racing, Battle of the Classes, Boat and Product launches, Demonstrations and Presentations, Tribute Bands and Fashion Shows and more.

Tall Ship Artemis

Throughout the week you can book and ride on boats on the Solent from the Marina using TryaBoat, the Suzuki RIB Experience or Wetwheels and 8-16 year olds can have a go at Sailing, Kayaking or Stand Up Paddleboarding and there are boats you can see include Offshore Racing Power Boats, The Tall Ship Artemis, The Alpha Centauri Hydroplane and many other new boats and debuts all over the Marina and on land. You can see boat racing with the Honda RYA Youth RIB challenge Final and The Battle of the Classes for Dinghy sailing. Or kids from 3-13 years can race each other on the Bumper Boats (with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Trust courtesy of Sunseeker International).

Dave Selby & Bart on Sailfish 18Across the Show there are product demonstrations from Epoxy techniques to Winch servicing and more of the many newly launched marine products, particularly in Ocean Hall . Dave Selby has sailed from Maldon Town Quay to the Show, to host PBO Live - a series of talks to demonstrate how to buy a boat and get sailing on a modest budget, as well as hosting practical demonstrations with PBO (Practical Boat Owner).

Festival Stage Fake TanFor some light entertainment or to have a break, you can head over to the Festival Stage powered by Datatag & the COMPASS scheme in Solent Park for bands and fashion shows of marine wear. You can even take part in a Guinness world record attempt at 11am on Saturday 24th - We need at least 323 of you!

At the Royal Navy stand C018 in Solent Park you can see the Pegasus Gas Turbine from the Harrier VSTOL aircraft. There will also be a Digital Small Arms Trainer for them to test your marksmanship and you can see footage showcasing the Queen Elizabeth Class Carrier and the F35B Lightning II aircraft in advance of the ship entering Portsmouth for the first time next year.

The Hurricane and Spitfire Mk.Vb, (G-MKVB), BM597 will take part in an air display on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2016. Providing a spectacle for visitors with an impressive display, starting at 2pm.
