CAptain’s Mate – our exclusive and award-winning app, boasting 20,000+ cruising reports across 7,500+ locations in 100+ countries worldwide. Uncover its vast and unrivalled potential with a live demo.

Advice – schedule a visit to one of our four on-stand drop-in sessions from 1300-1630 hrs to hear the latest updates from the CA’s Regulatory & Technical Services group (RATS). Our experts will be happy to answer any technical questions you have, including issues around the UK’s departure from the EU, with specific themes being: 13 September – Orca Update / 14 September – Orca Update / 17 September – Offshore installations, Studland Bay / 18 September – Flares and Distress Signals, Mobile data, Ofcom, Radio Licence and emissions.

Section Days – our many Sections cater to members who cruise or live in the same area or share similar cruising interests. We are excited to host three on-stand Section Days in 2024:
• Channel – crossing the Channel is a key milestone for many. Visit our stand on Sunday 15 September to explore available support from the Channel Section, including seminars and webinars (like the new First Channel Crossing) which are open to all. Learn about our cruising information and the latest entry/exit processes.
• Motorboat – our new Motorboat Section connects motorboaters, no matter where you cruise or what type of motorboat you own. Join us at the CA Stand on Monday 16 September, to hear about the support and resources available through our Motorboat Section, including plans for cruising in company, Zoom talks, and more.
• European Inland Waterways – explore the 30,000 km network of European canals and rivers in Europe, offering countless opportunities for sail and motor cruisers. The CA’s European Inland Waterways Section (EIWS) provides comprehensive cruising information covering Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg and The Netherlands. Visit on Thursday 19 September, to meet our experts and explore the delights of the European waterways.

Explore cruising – if you are looking for inspiration on cruising locations, we will introduce you to the CA’s range of cruising guides, printed and online.

Crewing Service – whether you are seeking crew or looking to join a crew, discover opportunities spanning mid-week sailing and cruising in the UK to European passages, Atlantic crossings to legs on a circumnavigation. Visit between 1000-1800 hrs on 16, 18 or 19 September to hear more from our Crewing Service reps.

Cruising Almanac

The 2025 edition of the renowned CA Cruising Almanac will be launched during the show. Produced in partnership with Imray, the Cruising Almanac is trusted as the go-to reference for cruising in NW Europe. Save postage and pick up your 2025 copy at the show or buy from our online shop (£28 members / £38 non-members).

Members who visit the CA Stand or new members who join on Monday 16 September will have a chance to win a Motorboat Prize Book Bundle. In partnership with Adlard Coles, we’re offering three must-have books: Stress-Free Motorboating and Stress-Free Engine Maintenance by Duncan Wells, plus The Boat Electrics Bible by Andy Johnson.

New members will automatically be entered into the daily prize of a Navionics Boating app 1-year subscription/renewal.

The CA stand is always a hub to gather, discover what’s new, share experiences, catch up with friends and talk all things cruising.

Time your visit between 1000-1130 and members can kick start your day with on-stand tea, coffee, juice and biscuits. At the other end of the day, the CA invites members to unwind with a glass of wine and a mingle at our daily 1630-1730 happy hour.

CA members can access discounts from 100s of marine companies and service providers around the world. Join the CA during the show and you can take advantage of these offers. Ahead of the show, we have published a handy guide to navigate you direct to the companies who are exhibiting.

Membership Offer

You can’t put a price on the CA’s cruising expertise, but we can offer 20% off the first year of full membership (paying by Direct Debit) when you join at the show.

Or if you have a friend who’s a CA member, they can be rewarded for supporting your membership through our ‘Refer a Friend’ programme. You will receive 20% off the first year’s membership (when paying by Direct Debit), and your friend will receive a £20 voucher* for the CA shop and cabin accommodation. They will also be entered into September’s prize of a Yacht Electrical and Marine Systems course worth £250 from First Class Sailing.
