British Marine, organisers of the Southampton International Boat Show, proudly announces GAC Pindar, the marine leisure, sports and event logistics division at GAC Group, as the new official sponsor of The Shipyard for its 2024 edition.
This collaboration marks GAC Pindar’s return to British Marine membership and heralds a fresh wave of excitement and synergy between the show’s organisers and one of the most respected names in marine services, coming together to bring an even more vibrant and engaging Shipyard experience to show visitors.
The Shipyard, first introduced in 2023, brought a brand-new festival vibe to the show, where visitors could relax, enjoy scrumptious street food, and be entertained by a diverse musical lineup of DJ sets and live performances. The addition of big screens for live sports ensured visitors didn’t miss any action, making it the perfect place to reflect on a fantastic day at the show while soaking up the festival atmosphere.
It quickly became the heart of the show and this year, The Shipyard, delivered by GAC Pindar, is poised to transform into an electrifying hub of entertainment that’s bigger and better than ever before! Prepare for even more sensational live music and the thrill of more live sporting events, all in one vibrant location. And there’s even better news: thanks to the generous sponsorship of GAC Pindar, The Shipyard will extend its revelry until 9pm on both Saturday 14 and Saturday 21 September, offering guests extra hours to immerse themselves in the excitement of the show.

The show is open from 10am – 6pm daily except on the final Sunday when the show will close at 5pm. The Shipyard will remain open until 9pm on both Saturday 14 and Saturday 21 September.
